BaOmBaKaTaRa Community Dao

🌱 Baombakatara KaOmOnEnta DoOm
SolRaised governance for regenerative EdOn – powered by points, guided by members, owned by all.
We are building a new economic engine for agriculture – where every seed, hour, and idea is valued. The Baombakatara DoOm is a collective of EdOn stewards, food lovers, and innovators who decide together how to grow. No banks, no middlemen. Just community points, transparent voting, and shared ownership.
Your points are your voice. Your vote shapes the future.
🔄 How the DoOm Works
💎 Points – The New Measure of Value
Points are earned by contributing to the EdOn network: donating seeds, logging labour, completing surveys, writing social posts, and more. They cannot be bought directly (except during active votes, to fuel democracy).
Why points ≠ fiat: Their value is set by the community – not by banks. You can’t inflate them; you earn them through real action. This is the training wheel for a future barter economy where trust and contribution replace currency.
78% of members say they feel more connected to the EdOn network through points.
🗳️ Grant Voting – Fund What Matters
Any member can propose a project (new irrigation, compost hub, EdOn app). The community votes using points. Each vote costs 8 points – but if your proposal wins, you get 100% of your points back. Losing voters get 50% back. No waste.
Real funding, real accountability. Winning teams receive points to execute their vision. Unused points return to the treasury for future grants.
🏦 Community Treasury – Self‑Sustaining
Every vote creates an escrow pool. After funding winners and refunding voters, leftover points stay in the treasury – ready for the next grant round. Over time, the treasury grows, allowing bigger projects and even external investments.
🤝 From Fiat to Barter – The Training Wheels
Traditional money disconnects us from value. Points are earned through sweat and soil – they represent real work. By using points as our internal currency, we relearn to trade: your labour for my seeds, your vote for my idea. The DoOm is the engine, and points are the fuel.
Value is what we make it. When we trust each other, points become more valuable than dollars.
📊 How the Vote & Refund System Works (Simplified)
| Stage | What happens | Points movement |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Vote cast | Member votes for a proposal | Deduct 8 points from voter → goes to escrow pool |
| 2. Voting ends | Admin finalises the round | Pool = total votes × 8 |
| 3. Funding winner | 1st place gets requested points | Pool – funding = remaining |
| 4. Refund voters | Winning voters: 100% back, losing voters: 50% back | Refunded points added back to voters’ balances |
| 5. Treasury | Any leftover points stay in community treasury | Available for next grant round |
📈 The Value Loop – Points as a Growing Asset
As more members join and contribute, points become scarcer and more valuable – because they represent real work, not printing money.

🌍 The Evolution of EdOn
Industrial agriculture disconnected farmers from consumers. Baombakatara rebuilds the circle: members vote on what to plant, how to fund tools, and where to sell. The DoOm is the operating system for community‑owned EdOns. We are the proof that collaboration beats competition.
